Jewel Staite and Zach Smadu on Family Law season 4 | Interview

Family Law stars Jewel Staite and Zach Smadu spoke to us about the fourth season of the Canadian series, following the juicy ending of the last season. They talked about how Abby and Daniel are getting along this season, their cases, and how the cast gets together when they're not filming. We also chatted quickly about one of the show's rising stars: Craig the pug.

Season, episode 1 synopsis: Abby represents Delilah, the head of a successful frozen food empire, who hires rental children to play her family after falling out with her biological children. But when Delilah wants to change her will to leave her fortune to her fake kids, her long-estranged bio kids come crawling out of the woodwork, demanding their inheritance and airing old grievances. Things are just so much easier with a rental family. Abby can empathize – she’s devastated after reading Sofia’s essay about her alcoholism and wrestling with whether to confront her about it. Harry is uncharacteristically rudderless after his breakup with Joanne. Daniel rebounds from Martina by having a one-night stand with a very quirky woman. And Lucy tells Kelly she has to move out – but Kelly refuses.
