There is truly nothing better than singing with someone you have admired for years. Esmée, I’m so honored to make music with you — I haven’t even told you this but I could easily sing along to every song on “Outta Here”. I couldn’t have asked for a better new duet partner and friend. You are a light and singing this song with you really did a number on my heart. The importance and the gravity of this song really goes beyond us. I hope these words speak to you as much as they did to Esmée and I.

“Tears in Heaven” with Esmée is the first in an ongoing series I’m starting called “You Inspire Me” — a collaboration series where I sing with people and voices I look up to and have inspired my music making. Manifesting some amazing collabs. Esmée is the perfect person to kick this series off with.
