WWE WrestleMania 22: John Cena vs Triple H (SmackDown vs RAW 2007)

At the 2006 Royal Rumble, John Cena defeated Edge to win his second WWE Championship. Following a successful title defense against the Rated-R Superstar on RAW, John Cena was without a challenger heading into WWE WrestleMania 22. This led to Triple H answering the call, and he would officially become number one contender on the February 20 episode of RAW.

In the leadup to their match at WrestleMania 22, Triple H made it perfectly clear that he had no respect for John Cena and his rapper persona. Believing that Cena as champion was an insult to the WWE Championship, The Game was intent on restoring prestige to the gold.

However, John Cena had no intention of losing to Triple H, and instead he viewed his title defense at WrestleMania 22 as a fitting way to help build his own legacy. Could Cena defeat the established veteran in Triple H, or would the Cerebral Assassin win his eleventh world championship?
