2015 के दादरी (बिसाहड़ा) कांड में मोहम्मद अखलाक़ की हत्या के बाद मीडिया ने इसे गोमांस की अफवाह पर हिंदू भीड़ द्वारा की गयी लिंचिंग बताया, लेकिन OpIndia की ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट और बाद की जांच में कई तथ्य उजागर हुए। आरोपी बनाए गए 18 हिंदू युवकों ने वर्षों जेल में काटे, परिवार आर्थिक-सामाजिक रूप से तबाह हुए। एक आरोपी रवि की जेल में संदिग्ध मौत हो गई। इसके अलावा अखलाक के पाकिस्तानी रिश्तेदारों से बढ़ते संबंध, उसके घर जमातियों का आना-जाना ये बातें भी उजागर हुई। दिसंबर 2025 में योगी सरकार ने सभी आरोपियों के खिलाफ केस वापस लेने की कोर्ट में अर्जी दी। OpIndia की रिपोर्ट में देखिए वो सच जो मीडिया ने कभी नहीं दिखाया।

In the 2015 Dadri (Bisahda) incident, following the murder of Mohammad Akhlaq, the mainstream media widely portrayed it as a lynching by a Hindu mob over rumours of beef consumption. However, OpIndia's on-ground reporting and subsequent investigations revealed several shocking facts. The 18 Hindu youths accused in the case spent years in jail, with their families suffering immense economic and social devastation. One accused, Ravi, died under suspicious circumstances while in custody. Additionally, emerging details highlighted Akhlaq's increasing ties with relatives in Pakistan and frequent visits by Tablighi Jamaat members to his home. In late 2025, the Yogi Adityanath government filed an application in court to withdraw the cases against all the accused.
