Vans RV 10 build update - Doors Part 2. In this video I'm preparing the doors to be placed on the fuselage once I have applied the epoxy and want to ensure a good overall fit and shape. Vans will have you tape the doors to the plane, however I will not be taping the doors to the fuselage but instead I will be drilling temporary holes in the fuselage to cleco the door to the plane, I'm hoping that this will give me a good fit and later I will full the holes with epoxy. I also use a strap duplicator / hole finder to drill the holes in the bottom of the door to cleco to the fuselage.
