Having explored the West Mountain, climb the East Mountain of Las Vegas for a panoramic view of the city and a comprehensive understanding of the vibrant gambling mecca, Hike Vegas East Mountain.
This route(6km in length with elevation gain of 645m) to the summit of Frenchman Mountain begins at the end of Bonanza Rd near the Las Vegas Mormon Temple. While the trail's beginning is well-defined and maintained, it becomes rugged and harder to follow as it ascends with some Class 3 scrambles. The 2,000 ft elevation gain gives you an unbeatable vantage point with expansive views of the city and surrounding landscape.
