Wallam Creek Donation Camp, Bollon | Must-Stop FREE Camp in Outback QLD

Join us as we check out Wallam Creek Donation Camp in Bollon, Outback QLD – a peaceful, pet-friendly free camp right by the water. Located between St George and Cunnamulla on the Adventure Way, Bollon is one of those classic small towns that makes you want to stay a little longer.

The campsite is situated alongside the beautiful Wallam Creek. We enjoyed the abundance of wildlife that flourished around us, such as (very friendly) ducks, kangaroos, emus, and loads of birds.

In the way of amenities, we found the main toilet block in the campsite to be very clean and well kept as well as housing a Book Swap. Just a short walk along the walking track into town is another toilet block, plus free hot showers.

The pub in town does a good dinner with an easy walk home along the pathway.

Spotted around where plenty of bins, plus picnic benches and wood BBQs. You’ll also find a Dump Point an easy walk (or short drive) from the campground.
