There is Torrential rain warning in Mauritius island and Reunion island from 2/4/2022. There is also strong wind alert and heavy or moderate rainfall. There is influence of active clouds giving sporadic heavy showers and thunderstorms as well. The severe showers are causing water accumulation in flood prone areas. The soil is already eroded along the course of rivers. It is expected that the intensity of heavy showers will decrease from tomorrow morning and the weather would gradually improve! Hoping for a better weather soon!
