Our recent family and friends trip to Betong, Thailand Part 1! This time we had a large convoy of 6 cars and 20 over people in our group. We had planned a 3D2N trip to this nearby bordertown at the Kedah/Perak/Thai border. Crossing over to Thailand is the town of Betong which was our destination.
The drive itself isn't too long, but the border documentation process took up a significant amount of time. Nevertheless, we all arrived just in time for a good late breakfast in Betong, our first stop was for wan than mee at ข้าวหมูแดงสูตรนครปฐม
We walked around the town just a bit before proceeding to Winter Flower Gardens at the outskirts of town. The gardens are located on a hill, and the weather was gorgeous, a very cooling 21 degrees Celsius.
