Welcome to a genuine day in our Carpathian mountain life! 🌄 Our family of five lives in a peaceful village perched high among the peaks, just by a flowing river. Today, mom Oksana starts cooking authentic Carpathian dishes early: she picks fresh zucchini and roasts them outdoors, then boils potatoes in a cast-iron oven and prepares a hearty, lean pea soup — just like locals have done for generations.🥬🥔

When Dad returns from work, Mom sets the table outside with zucchini, crispy potatoes, and soup — and the whole family enjoys a true taste of tradition. After lunch, Dad heads back to work, while Mom Oksana and the kids pickle homegrown cucumbers together. 🥒

On the next day, Mom and Dad (Vasyl) set off for a big mountain ride with their new motorcycle. They discover a centuries-old wooden church with a leaky roof, pass shepherds and their sheep, cross many mountains, and reach a mighty river. Dad can’t resist and falls off the bike into the river— but both laugh, dry off, and ride home, smiling. 😅🏞️
