9 minutes down... another 9 minutes of pure concentration. Welcome to the thick of it.
In Part 1, we passed the Dingo Gate. Now, in Part 2, the reality of Moonan Brook Road is setting in. The track is getting tighter, the "road" surface is getting looser, and my Nissan Qashqai is officially a long way from its natural habitat in the city.
We are still deep in the Barrington Tops wilderness, descending toward Moonan Flat and Gundy. This stretch is a masterclass in "don't look over the edge." One mistake here doesn't just mean a flat tire—it means a very long helicopter ride.
