🚨 MINI TUTORIAL: Cutting Fabric with the Brother ScanNCut SDX1200 🚨

Did you know you can now cut fabric with no adhesive sheets? With the new Fabric Mat, there’s no need for high-tack fabric support sheets—just place your thin fabric directly onto the mat! 💥

Here’s how I do it for my new textile hand-stitching project (I'm cutting lots of shapes to sew in later):

🧵 Step 1: Place your fabric onto the Fabric Mat and use a roller to smooth out any bubbles.
✂️ Step 2: Be sure to insert the Fabric Blade and Holder (this is crucial for clean cuts).
🎨 Step 3: Select your design. I used the built-in shapes on the ScanNCut, but you can also scan and use your own!
🖱️ Step 4: Tap “Cut” and let the machine do all the work.
🎯 Step 5: Gently lift your shapes with the spatula tool. Give them a quick press with your iron, and they’re ready to applique, quilt, or stitch!
