It gets nauseating watching/listening to Youtubers perpetrating fraudulent information that is easily de-bunked even by children who merely have to use the very same app that the scammers are using to sell the lies in the first place!

If you have Stellarium then USE IT!

The next time an idiot tells you that Mars does not move in an anti-prograde direction pull up the damn ephemeris and prove him or her wrong!

They think you are stupid!

Right ascension and declination is the REAL location of the planets/stars/galaxys etc. They can only be in one place at one moment in time it has nothing to do with parallax, passing on the inside lane, stellar aberration, blah blah blah!

Either the RA is increasing or decreasing and if it is, it is moving in some direction. Not apparent motion, i.e. optical illusion, but true motion!

If you want to see the motion imparted by OUR motion of Earth's spin then look at Azimuth and Altitude those change rapidly because of our rotation, that is what causes the Sun to rise and set daily, our motion.

RA and Dec. will not vary hardly at all during retrogrades because relatively speaking the planets move very slowly and by the way you can see in Stellarium that the Sun is also moving, not Earth. Click on it and see for yourself! It has nothing to do with our movement, if it did its RA/Dec would not be constantly changing.
