Cinnamon rolls originated in Sweden and are common in Northern Europe and North America. The main ingredients are yeast dough, cinnamon, sugar and butter, which provide a robust and sweet flavor.
Traditional Swedish cinnamon rolls are not as sweet as American-style cinnamon rolls. Most Swedish cinnamon rolls have a little cardamom added to the dough to enhance the flavor. In addition, Swedish cinnamon rolls are sprinkled with pearl sugar after they are baked, and American style is drizzled with icing sugar.
面团材料 Dough Ingredients
高筋面粉 Bread Flour : 290g (~ 2 1/4 cups)
奶粉 Milk Powder : 10g (1 1/4 tbsp)
冷水 Cold Water : 130g ( ~ 1/2 cups)
鸡蛋 Egg : 1pc (Grade A)
糖 Sugar : 25g (2 tbsp)
盐 Salt : 3g (1/2 tsp)
酵母 Instant Dry Yeast : 3g (1 tsp)
无盐牛油 Unsalted Butter : 25g (1 3/4 tbsp)
内馅 Filling
无盐牛油 Unsalted Butter :48g (3 1/2 tbsp)
糖 Sugar : 48g (~3 3/4 tbsp)
肉桂粉 Cinnamon Powder : 5g (2 tsp)
核桃 Walnut : 50g (1/2 cups)
糖霜 Icing
糖粉 Icing Sugar : 25g (3 1/4 tbsp)
水 Water : 5g (1 tsp)
