This is a problem that happens with all types and brands of hammers, not just this makita.
But the solution is normaly the same for them all. Dismantle the tool holder amd remove the broken or stuck chisel.
But sometimes the damage can be a little harder to fix. Like this one.
When they are this bad, dismantling the hammer is the only way so you can knock the chisel out from the inside to minimize damage to the machine.
Moral of the story, save yourself a lot of heart ach and buy good quality chisels.
