Cycling in the Netherlands - Again! (Part 2). Crossing the longest bridge in the Netherlands.

Welcome back to our cycling adventures in the Netherlands – This is Part 2 of our cycle camping and bikepacking journey through the south of the Netherlands! 🚴‍♂️🇳🇱 This stage of our tour includes scenic cycling routes, historic towns, camping by bike, and the unique charm of Dutch culture and landscapes.

We leave the beautiful old town of Zierikzee and ride across the impressive Zeelandbrug, one of the Netherlands’ most iconic cycling routes. From there, we catch the small ferry from Kamperland to Veere, a historic town with traditional Dutch character. After exploring, we camp overnight near Middelburg, enjoying the peace and simplicity of cycle touring life.

The following days take us east through Goes and onwards towards Breda, discovering picturesque villages, quiet country roads, and some wonderful small Dutch campsites along the way. With every pedal stroke, we uncover more of the Netherlands’ cycling infrastructure, history, and natural beauty, making this a perfect trip for anyone who loves cycle touring, bikepacking, and outdoor adventures.
