Today's repair, the Frost classic n.2 model, is probably from the 1970s. One of the several companies that produced Mora knives in Mora, Sweden, was Frost, or Erik Frost as it was known in the past. Frost and KJE would go on to form what is now known as the Morakniv group.
Beginning in the 1890s, Erik Frost was a pioneer in the production of knives in Mora, Sweden.
It all began with the iconic sentence.
The paint on this knife is nearly all over it. The blade itself need some maintenance after the paint was removed, but it wasn't in bad shape.
As always, everything was completed by hand with easily accessible tools, so you can be inspired to start repairing and revitalizing your old knives and giving them a new appearance.
