Wednesday, Aug. 20, was the first day of practice for girls playing in flag football at nine Kansas high schools.
With the help of the @KansasCityChiefs, seven Wichita high schools and both Maize high schools will begin competing in girls flag football this year. The Chiefs are paying for the uniforms and equipment.
