WALT DISNEY WORLD DAY 3 | Magic Kingdom Rope Drop & Best Fireworks Spot Ever

👋 Welcome to our brand new Walt Disney World vlog, at Disney's Magic Kingdom! Join us as we head straight to our second rope drop of the trip, and manage to make it all the way to Happily Ever After and through to park close. We conquer Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in resort guest early entry time, I become a Galactic Hero and we have the best character meets ever.
We also take some time out to enjoy our resort pool at Port Orleans French Quarter, before accidentally stumbling upon the best spot to view Happily Ever After... well, ever!

Day three began with a somewhat perilous bus journey to the Magic Kingdom. Despite the early start, security checks slowed down our rope drop strategy, but to our surprise it had little impact on our place in the lines and we managed to make our way down Main Street USA, wave to Cinderella's Castle and complete Seven Dwarfs Mine Train rope drop - we were off the attraction before resort early entry time even finished!
Making the most of that quiet morning time, we head on Under the Sea in Fantasyland, which was super cute (minus our bioluminescent teeth!!)
Next we decided to go and meet Tiana and Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall, and we update you on our MultiPass Lightning Lane strategy. After we found out Space Mountain was down, we were able to rebook it for later and utilise a new 'free' fastpass for any attraction at any time (we later opted for Jungle Cruise, since it was booked up until the evening).

After a quick ride on the carousel, and a brief interaction with the ugly step sisters Anastasia and Drizella, we head over to our most anticipated character meet - Pooh and Tigger! They were so much fun and gave us all the magical feels. Our character attendant was great too!
We then bid farewell to Fantasyland and stepped over into Tomorrowland where something incredible happened; I officially became a Galactic Hero on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Proudest moment of my life!!
Riding the high, we then took a trip on The Peoplemover before finally heading onto Space Mountain.
As we walked back through the hub, we had an amazing time watching the Main Street Philharmonic who were simply incredible!
Next up, we knocked out Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise (with ease thanks to our lightning lanes), and then grabbed a quick bite at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe.
We managed to snag a sneaky fastpass for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, and stayed mostly dry which fared well for us to watch the parade, Festival of Fantasy, from our favourite spot in Frontierland - with a Mickey Premium Bar and Mickey ice-cream sandwich in hand of course!
We got a smoulder from Flynn and a blush from Smee - what more could two gals ask for?!
We then perfectly executed our strategy to meet Mickey at Town Square Theatre with no line, before hopping on the bus back to our resort for some pool time and a refresh.
After a few trips down the Port Orleans French Quarter slide, we returned back to the Magic Kingdom. Following a brief photoshoot we headed to Casey's Corner for some dinner. We tried the corndog nuggets which were surprisingly good!
At this point we realised we had a PERFECT castle view, so we decided to stay put and watch the fireworks from our seats. Best decision ever! Rachel headed off to get out popcorn from Mainstreet Confectionery, and then we watched Happily Ever After with our feet up. It was like a dream!
Once we'd recovered, we were first in line for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, hopped on the teacups and got in the mine train line just before closing.
What a perfect day in Walt Disney World - we disney-ed until we dropped and it was the BEST DAY EVER! I hope you enjoy following along, and I can't wait for you to watch our Epcot vlog next week!
