1. The battle is SPIRITUAL!

Ephesians 6:10-13 (TPT)
Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused
with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his
explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.

Romans 2:4-6 (TPT)
Do the riches of [God’s] extraordinary kindness make you take him for granted and despise him?
Haven’t you experienced how kind and understanding he has been to you? Don’t mistake his
tolerance for acceptance. Do you realize that all the wealth of his extravagant kindness is meant to
melt your heart and lead you into repentance? But because of your calloused heart and refusal to
change direction, you are piling up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous
judgment is revealed. For: “He will give to each one in return for what he has done.”
You overcome a spirit with the opposite spirit!

2. The Rise of the KINGLY-PRIESTHOOD!

Revelation 1:5,6 (TPT)
Now to the one who constantly loves us and has loosed us from our sins by his own blood, and to the one who has made us to rule as a kingly priesthood to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and dominion throughout the eternity of eternities!

As King-Priests, we both LEAD and RECONCILE, but our authority comes from embracing
both simultaneously.
As KINGS, we “rule & reign” with Christ (the King of kings) bringing the righteousness of God.

Matthew 16:17-19 (TPT)
Jesus replied, “You are favored and privileged Simeon, son of Jonah! For you didn’t discover this on your own, but my Father in heaven has supernaturally revealed it to you. I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this truth of who I am will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build my church—my legislative assembly, and the power of death will not be able to overpower it! I will give you the keys of heaven’s kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in heaven.”

As PRIESTS, we are called to “reconcile humanity back to God.”

2 Corinthians 5:20 (TPT)
We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though
God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on
Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.”

3. We must learn the difference between DISCERNMENT & JUDGEMENT!

Matthew 7:1-3 (TPT)
“Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others, and judgment will not be passed on you. For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you. Why would you focus on the flaw in someone else’s life and yet fail to notice the glaring flaws of your own?”
