In this #schizophrenicstorytime I share a story about a real schizophrenia hallucination I had of a homeless man at the store. When I have visual and auditory hallucinations, I can sometimes have a conversation with them until someone alerts me of my symptoms.
In this story time I was able to have some insight from my medication, that allowed me to realize that I may be hallucinating. Although my medication greatly helps to reduce my hallucinations and other symptoms, I do still occasionally have hallucinations and brief episodes.
