Cymbidium tracyanum and other Autumn flowering Cymbidiums!

This week Plant Lovers, two of my Cymbidiums are in full bloom and it's still late Autumn, so let's take a closer look! One is the species Cymbidium tracyanum which flowers at this time of year; a very elegant flower on an equally elegant stem...but with a less than elegant fragrance I must say!! The other is a no ID Cymbidium hybrid which last year bloomed in late winter into early spring and this year is in full flight three month earlier! It certainly has a lot of Cymbidium tracyanum in it's ancestry...and shares it's somewhat acrid fragrance!
