` Rhythm of life is a short documentary short film about Assam’s culture. Dhol (Drum) is a cultural instrument of Assam. There are eight types of main Dhol in Assam. Bor dhol, Joi dhol, khram, kham, kabi dhol, Bihu Dhol, Dhepa Dhol, Madol. The Dhols (Drum) used by the tribes of Assam have their own unique features. Although their process of manufacture is basically the same, they differ widely in shape, in the technique of drumming and in the sounds which are produced. Dhol has played the role of a unifier among the tribes and sub-tribes of Assam. In our social and religious life, its place is significant and for that we are proud.
