🇰🇷 Time-travel to Old Korean Streets | Jeonju Hyanggyo Confucian School & Peaceful Riverside [4K]

This morning, we’re exploring the south side of Jeonju Hanok Village. After you've wandered the busier lanes of the Hanok Village and want something quieter with even more culture & history and a bit of nature, this is the walk I recommend.

We begin at Jeonju Hyanggyo, a Confucian school from the Joseon era where local scholars once studied. From the front gate, we follow Hyanggyo-gil, a narrow historic lane that once linked the school to the surrounding community. If you’re curious to learn more about the local culture, you can stop by the Jeonju Traditional Culture Center for small exhibitions and workshops.

We continue walking west to Cheongyeonru Pavilion, which is usually a peaceful photo spot, though when I visited, it was under renovation, so unfortunately I’ll have to leave that scene to your imagination today. Then we head east along the stream with traditional buildings on the left and a clear stream on the right. This is my absolute favourite stretch in Jeonju. It's breezy, leafy, and peaceful, perfect for slowing down and clearing your mind.
