Manipur: British pop band Blue lands in Imphal for Sangai Music Festival 2025

British pop band Blue arrived in Imphal on November 29 for their first-ever visit to Manipur. The UK group will headline the ongoing Sangai Music Festival 2025 at the Archery Ground in Khuman Lampak later this evening.
The three-day festival is being organised by the 7 Sisters Foundation in collaboration with Manipur Tourism, and is one of this year’s key attractions.

Speaking to the media at Imphal airport, band member Anthony Costa said they were excited to return to India and looked forward to performing for fans in Manipur.

Meanwhile, Girish and the Chronicles, the heavy rock band from Sikkim, also reached Imphal on Saturday morning. They are scheduled to perform at the festival on November 30. The band recently gained global attention after their appearance on America’s Got Talent Season 20 and earlier this year opened for Guns N’ Roses in Mumbai.
