In the division we’re introduced to the virus well after it has taken hold of New York City and spread to other parts of the world.

Gordon Amherst is the man behind the creation and outbreak of the Dollar Flu.

Amherst was a calm, collected man.

But he had a reputation as being a controversial and dangerous individual even before the outbreak of the Dollar Flu.

He would practically cause riots at lectures he would hold, and was otherwise considered an unpopular figure by virologists like Dr. Jessica Kendel.
