This is a boring unboxing and upgrade video where I unbox a Beelink SER 5 Pro mini PC. The intention is for this to be installed in my home-lab in order to do ProxMox duty. This particular example came with the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U CPU, 32G RAM and a 512Gb NVMe SSD. The on-board GPU is listed as the "AMD Radeon Graphics 8 cores 2000 MHz", which should do nicely for things like dynamic video transcoding using Jellyfin.
In this video I also open up the mini PC in order to inspect the internals, and also to replace the supplied 512Gb NVMe with a 2Tb one. I complement that with a second drive (also a 2Tb, but this one being a SATA 2.5" SSD) in order to install ProxMox with a ZFS mirror for a bit of data redundancy.
