A compilation of the best and notable clips uploaded to the channel over the past ten years.

NOTE: Some clips may contain older watermarks or captions. This is due to a loss of the original video files courtesy of a hard drive failure some years ago, so they were pulled from YouTube. Some clips previously uploaded in 60fps may appear in 30fps for the same reason.


History:
Taking a keen interest in emergency vehicles back in 2013, I finally decided I wanted to be a part of it and I launched British Emergency on YouTube on August 22nd, 2014.

In that time I've learned a lot about emergency vehicles and the emergency services in general. I've made good connections and had good relations with personnel from all three services (as well as volunteer services), met some great people with similar interests and made some friends along the way.

It's given me the opportunity to visit lots of new locations I'd previously never have been and likely wouldn't have ever visited. It's taught me a lot about media, photography and cinematic work, as well as new and creative ways to work while editing videos and using software.

In that time I've been through a variety of cameras, both specifically for photos and videos respectively and I've tried to get the best I can with the funds I have to get the best possible video quality and content in general.
I worked at a complete loss for near-on three years due to a change in YouTube's monetization policies, but I kept on going, in order to grow the channel, to meet their new terms in order to be able to keep bringing new content to the platform, for you, the viewers.

More recently, the channel gave me the opportunity to leave the country for the first time last year when I took a trip to Ireland to cover US President Joe Biden's visit for the anniversary of the Good Friday agreement between the British and Irish governments.

I do have plans to completely change the format of the content that goes out on the channel, outside of the usual response videos. This is to diversify content and to make the channel appeal to a wider audience, but more on that in due time.

To those who have watched my videos, especially those from really early on, thank you for being here. None of this is worth my time or effort without you.

Before I wrap up, I'd like to give a shout-out to ‪@CobraEmergency‬ for their extensive support and friendship throughout the entire span of British Emergency from day one. I really appreciate everything and I'm happy that our two channels have been (unofficially) able to work so closely together 💪🏻
