After a couple of months or so, i thought i’ll prime & fill them empty fuel bowls with some Juice & get this baby started & go for a little drive again.
Getting it ready for a photo shoot that will be issued in an “online” article/magazine 🎥 .
This will be it’s 3rd time featured in a Magazine/article over the 25yrs of ownership 🤙🏼🏁.
Also did an Oil-Change after 2yrs 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏻♂️, to a more Street Friendly Higher Temp performance style.... that'll be a little more tolerant on constant cruising/operating conditions once it gets to & sits on 180° for a while.
It is to suit older design style Performance Engines, has plenty of Zinc-Protection for coating & cold start protection & doesn't break down at them higher street cruising operating temps .
Previous oil was a performance 5w30 (zinc) good i guess for racing & at say around 160° temp , anything higher than that it tends to break down......was still ok!
Also pay attention to what your current needs are with your own beasts. Are you racing all the time with only minimal short street drives?
OR have you hung up the helmet for a while & doing more street cruising ?🤔?
Remember Some "off the shelf" performance oils are to suit Late-Model designed performance engines that have different oil galleries, pumps, great cooling designs, different bearing action/clearances etc......
