Stabilizing a hillside with rip rap. I finished removing a failing retaining wall that blew out. The wall was over 100 years old and finally gave out from all the rain. Instead of building another wall back we choose to slope the hill and use rip rap to stabilize it from eroding anymore. It took 8 loads of rip rap or about 135 tons. I placed some road fabric down first then put the rip rap on it and packed it into the side of the hill. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #riprap
