Check out this first brand new gameplay look at the upcoming Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection developed in RE engine. This work in progress footage edited by us comes from today's Capcom Stage Live at Tokyo Game Show 2025. This title is the third installment in the turn-based RPG spin-off series of the Monster Hunter franchise where players take on the role of a Monster Rider who forges bonds with monsters known as Monsties. The turn-based combat and exploration gameplay is a mix of the main series, Dragon Quest and Pokemon and the 3D anime art syle graphics will remind you of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Ni No Kuni and Studio Ghibli!

Description:

The story centers around the mysterious birth of twin Rathalos from a single egg, an event considered a bad omen that is said to divide kingdoms. This occurrence reignites the conflict between two neighboring kingdoms, Vermeil and Azuria, two centuries after a previous war that separated them. The player, as a Rathalos Rider from Aurora, is thrust into the middle of this situation. They must make a difficult decision about the fate of the twin Rathalos while a new threat looms over the world. The narrative focuses on the protagonist's growth as a Rider and the exploration of a global mystery.
