Zangskar always throws up some of the craziest challenges for a group on two wheels, regardless of the road-work development in the region! 🏔
As we made our way towards Padum in the heart of the monsoon, a particularly deep water crossing proved to be a menace for all, ensnaring a number of large trucks and causing a massive delay as the JCB attempted to extricate them from the rapids!
Rapidly losing daylight, the group was forced to act - taking the motorcycles over a gnarly trail shooting off to the right before crossing over a narrow footbridge that was probably never meant to take the weight of more than a Zanskari or two as they went about their daily business!
All the bikes made it through - a real testament to both the mounts and their riders who didn't back down even in the face of this most peculiar and dangerous challenge!
