Today we are starting the next Chopin series - the Complete Variations! Our first variations come from a young Chopin.
He was so impressed with the concert of the Italian violin virtuoso Niccolò Paganini, that he wrote his own variations on the same theme which the great Italian played and improvised on.
Chopin never intended for this piece to be published, so it is an amazing opportunity for us to enjoy the experiments of Chopin!
