How far would you go to surf on snow? For these three friends, there is no answer. They'll know when they get there.

In February 2023, Eppu Puominen, Matti Kinnunen and Jan Erik Leutola embarked on a snowsurf expedition into the wilderness of Oulanka National Park in Kuusamo, Finland. With below -20 °C temperatures, 6 hours of daylight and only wilderness cabins to house their human-powered quest, they were in for a wild ride. Follow along as the crew hauls pulks, skis on frozen rivers and rips turns in powder snow.
