On April 12, 2025, a Bristell NG5 Speed Wing aircraft crashed into Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight shortly after takeoff from Bembridge Airport. The plane attempted an emergency landing but crashed into the park, bursting into flames. Remarkably, both the pilot and co-pilot escaped with minor injuries. Preliminary investigations suggest the engine failure may have been caused by a bird strike. This video captures the dramatic moment of the crash and its aftermath.
