In this video I am simply showing how I assembled the camera cage to fit my Canon T4i. I went with the larger bar on the side thinking I would be able to utilize my flash. However, I decided to go with the smaller bar since I would have the LumeCubes on there and be able to have plenty of light.

Alright guys today i'm going to put
together a Camvate camera cage for my
Canon this is my t4i. You know I like
shooting a lot of videos with it
I've got all the lenses that I need for
it but I need something that's going to
give me a little bit better range more
flexibility and so i bought this can be
camera rig camera cage here, it comes in
two different but actually the backup
they've got different styles and
different grips i went with the right
hand grip because we used to focusing
look at it make sure you get the one
that's right for you
let's put this thing together we got
here and just took all these small bags
of the boxing see that's going to be the
bottom of the cage
ok father together it's like there's two
different side posts depending on the
height going to go with the larger
one put that in there
what's that going to do think i will go
ahead and go with the larger one just in
case because if i'll show you this ok so
ago with this smaller one
here's what's going to happen
here's a thought handle this is going to
be great got a cold shoe mount right
there and allow me to catch receivers
for save lav mics or whatever else
might have that I need to attach their
so let's go ahead
this thing up here
it's got allen wrenches and all kinds of hardware that I might need.
flush and I'm just snugging this down
i'm not tightening anything up just yet
Until I can get it all together and get it fitted
properly put the washer, the washer in there
first I'll get that all lined up in a second
and then one thing you can do is, I am not sure where
I want this just yet. i'm gonna go with
it right there As you can see by all these openings here
there's plenty of mounting options to
customize this whatever shooting style
you have or whatever attachment you
might need put on your camera i'm
looking forward to using this with the
Lume Cube gives me places to mount more
than just one above the camera and put
them actually on the sides
let's get that handle kind of there
laying on side that will keep it squared
up there that's pretty simple, now get the handle on here
looks very pretty good right by the
camera and a little bit secure there you go
so this gives me everything I need
I can see that can hold a camera here
once filming just make things just that
much that much better
alright, I can mount this if I want to use the Shure Mic
up on top great little rig
