Welcome back to the Hof Bergmann Farm Timelapse. Today, we're preparing and sowing the field where we recently harvested beets. The field has already been fertilized, and now it's time for deep plowing to break up the soil. Since our current equipment isn’t powerful enough to handle a wide plow, we plan to upgrade to a more powerful tractor.
Before making the purchase, we stop by our dairy facility to load pallets of goat cheese. We transport the cheese to the local market to generate some income. With the funds in hand, we head to the vehicle shop, where we purchase a new tractor and a high-capacity plow.
We then return to the field and begin plowing. Once the task is complete, we assign a hired worker to spread lime over the plowed field to improve soil quality. Meanwhile, using our new tractor, we accept and complete a small plowing contract nearby, earning extra money.
Next, we swap the plow for a cultivator and begin preparing the seedbed on our main field. In the final stage of field prep, we attach the seeder and start sowing wheat.
To finish the day, we handle another important task — selling compost. To speed up loading, we invest in a belt loader, bring it to the compost heap, and efficiently load the finished compost into our trailer. We then deliver the compost to the point of sale, completing a full cycle of fieldwork, logistics, and product sales in Farming Simulator 25.
