Unleashed: The Enugu Rangers Revolution (1970-1977) - Emeka Ed Keazor

Ezennia Ugonabo Emeka Ed Keazor. is a lawyer, author, historian, and filmmaker. He is the author of the following critically acclaimed works: The Lagos Hamburg Line: A Brief History of German Commerce in Nigeria (1590 -2016); ‘120 Great Nigerians We Never Knew’, 'The Federation Cup and Nigerian Football'; amongst others. His documentary film works include the critically acclaimed 'January 15, 1970: Untold Memories of the Nigeria - Biafra War’; ‘Company Yaya?!?: Lost African Voices of World War 2’ and 'Onunaekwuluora: The Legend of Thurstan Shaw' amongst others

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Nigerian Legal History Society; the board of directors of Iba Ajie (The Ukpabi Asika Knowledge Resource Centre). He was consultant historian for the official FGN Centenary Documentary: 'We are Nigerians', and a recipient of an award from the African Society of Cambridge University in 2014, for his work in African History.

Emeka Ed Keazor spoke at the virtual Igbo symposium under the guiding theme of Disruptions: Breaks & Ruptures, which held from 17th-19th June 2020. Over the three days a range of speakers discussed significant moments of change for Igbo people, brought about by disruptive forces (both positive and negative). Conversations engaged with key historical events and changes in cultural practices, notions of identity and ways of seeing the world.
