This piece was written in 1908 by African American composer and pianist Scott Joplin.
He was a famous performer and composer who established "Ragtime" as a musical genre that combines European classical music and African American harmonies and rhythms, and many people refer to him as the "King of Ragtime." (King of Ragtime).
This arrangement was made for Saxophone Quartet, and is an orchestration that uses each instrument's wide range. It's a very fun song, so let's have fun and play it with a smile.
アフリカ系アメリカ人の作曲家でピアノ演奏家のスコット・ジョプリンが1908年に作曲した楽曲です。
ジョプリンは、ヨーロッパのクラシック音楽とアフリカ系アメリカ人のハーモニーとリズムを結びつける音楽"ラグタイム"をひとつの音楽ジャンルとして確立した有名な演奏家・作曲家であり、多くの人は彼のことを「ラグタイム王」（King of Ragtime）と呼んでいます。
このアレンジは、Saxophone Quartet用に編曲したもので各楽器広い音域を使ったオーケストレーションになっています。
