Highlights from the speeches at the opening celebration for Adorned — a group exhibition presenting style and identity beyond aesthetics and beauty, exploring cultural expressions, histories, futurisms and materiality at the AGGV (curated by Jaimie Isaac).
Artists from the Reverberations exhibition (curated by Nicole Stanbridge, Heng Wu and Mel Granley) that opened earlier in the Spring were also acknowledged and celebrated during this event, as the AGGV opened its doors back to major in-person events in June 2022.
