25 Minutes Hiking Through Wetlands | Puddles, Boardwalk, Birdsong, Cicadas | Walking Ambience

I went hiking for 25 minutes through wetlands and filmed the trail in 4k for you. The trail was filled with puddles that I had to go ankle deep in water to cross but it was worth the wet feet for the beautiful boardwalk section. The cicadas were deafening!

It was a stormy week but during a brief break in the weather I travelled up to Nudgee Beach Wetlands for the hike. The hike starts on dirt and in places was completely covered in water, my socks got quite wet, before heading onto the boardwalk that takes you above the mangrove floor and deep into nature. The rainy surrounds make for a calm atmosphere as water birds call from the mangroves near the hike.

The hike is called the Tabbil-Ban Dhagun Track but is commonly referred to as the Nudgee Beach wetlands boardwalk. It's a hidden gem and is one of Brisbane's best kept secrets. Great to explore on a rainy day but remember to take some insect repellent as the mosquitoes can be thick.
