Today's California Zephyr arrived in Fort Morgan at 0655 MST (1 hr. & 10 min. late due to lame freight in front of them between Akron, CO and Brush Junction. Nick had P42s #163 & #48 bring the 8-car train to a stop with car 8 to the platform ramp for 1 new fare headed to Denver. There were no detraining passengers today. After a brief check and some slam dancing with the car door (iced up) Sam gave the high ball and on a clear signal at west Ft. Morgan CP, the Zephyr rolled west toward its next stop at Union Station in Denver.
My thanks, as always to the operating crew for the greetings this morning. Everyone please stay warm and safe!

My mother is at home and doing very well. It will be slow eating for a month or so for her. Her sprits are still very high.
