The amounts of vegans over the last decade have been on the rise. More and more people are making the decision to have plat based diets, which I genuinely think is a good thing to do. Veganism isn't for everyone and never will be. There are many great vegan activism groups out there which approach their activism in a very polite and respectful manner. Unfortunately that isn't what the average person views a vegan. PETA over the years have built an reputation of people viewing them as annoying people on the internet, one of the most hated and disliked groups out there.
