Excel Tips & Tricks: How to Swap Rows and Columns [A-ha!

This Microsoft Excel Tip will teach you How to Swap Rows and Columns in a Spreadsheet with ease.

Ever wish the data in a row was in a column instead? Or vice versa? This quick video will show you how to do just that with very little effort!

And if you're like me and want to skip the video and just read the tip, here you go:
1. Select and Copy the range of data you want to flip. Do NOT copy entire rows or columns
2. In a new worksheet (or new cell in existing worksheet), select cell you want to paste into
but instead of pasting regularly…
3. From Home Ribbon, click the drop down arrow under Paste
4. Choose Paste Special (will open dialog box)
5. Check Transpose and click OK
6. Say A-ha! 😉
