Held inside Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort, Villains Grove transforms the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail into a moody forest filled with lights, fog, and music inspired by Disney’s most infamous villains.

While the visuals are impressive, many guests (including us) find the wait time far too long for what’s essentially a light-and-sound walk-through — no live villains, no major effects, just ambiance. During a limited-time 5-hour Oogie Boogie Bash event, the line can easily eat up a big chunk of your night.

“Explore Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Some of your favorite Disney villains passed through before you, turning the forest into an enchanted grove of mystical lights, sights, and sounds. Your awe-inspiring adventure begins the moment you cross through the arched entrance into a place of twisting vines and roots. Meander through misty turns and curves that reveal the bewitching worlds inspired by villains like Dr. Facilier, Frollo, Scar, the Wicked Queen, and others.”
