Welcome to another exciting vlog, friends! In this episode, I take you through the lush green hills and breathtaking landscapes of Madikeri, the heart of Coorg (Kodagu) district in Karnataka. Ride along as I explore some of the most scenic and thrilling spots this beautiful hill station has to offer! 🏍️💚

📜 About Madikeri:
Madikeri, formerly known as Mercara, is a hill town nestled in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. It was founded in the 17th century by Mudduraja, a local chieftain from the Haleri dynasty, who built a mud fort here in 1681. The name Madikeri comes from his name — Mudduraja Keri (meaning "Mudduraja's place").

The region later came under the rule of Tipu Sultan, followed by the British, who were mesmerized by its cool climate and misty hills. Today, Madikeri is a peaceful getaway filled with coffee plantations, waterfalls, forested trails, and rich Kodava culture.

🛣️ Places I Visited:
1️⃣ Raja’s Seat:
A historic viewpoint once used by the kings of Kodagu to relax and admire the sunsets. With a beautifully maintained garden and panoramic views of the valley, this spot is perfect to soak in the beauty of Coorg.

2️⃣ Mandalpatti Extreme Off-Road Ride:
One of the wildest rides I’ve done! Mandalpatti is known for its rugged terrain and jaw-dropping sunset views. The journey through narrow, bumpy trails is an adventure in itself, but the reward at the top is absolutely worth it. Pure off-road bliss! 🤯🌄

3️⃣ Abbey Falls:
Located amidst coffee and spice plantations, Abbey Falls is a spectacular waterfall that roars down from 70 feet. The bridge across the falls gives a fantastic view and is a photographer’s paradise!

4️⃣ Karnataka’s Longest and Highest Zipline:
Yes! I took on Karnataka’s highest and longest zipline challenge! Flying across the lush green valley gave an adrenaline rush like no other. A must-try for all adventure lovers! 💥🪂
