Christian’s 13th Birthday Shopping Spree!

Today is a big day for our family, Christian officially turned 13 and became a teenager! 🎉

For the very first time ever, Christian went on a real shopping spree using his own money that he saved from Christmas and his birthday. He had never gone shopping like this before, and watching him learn how to choose, budget, and decide what he really wanted was something special.

We spent about four hours together going store to store, laughing, talking, and making memories. From clothes to shoes to things he’s been wanting for a long time, Christian finally got to pick it all himself, and he spent every dollar doing it!

This wasn’t just about shopping, it was about growing up, becoming more independent, and creating a father-and-son memory we’ll never forget. These are the moments we love sharing as The Basden Boys: real life, real love, and real family.
