After camping outside of Jarbidge Nevada, we take the stunning canyon drive to Rio Tinto ghost town. Once a copper boom town, most recently a superfund site. There are a lot of buildings remaining here, including the large high school gymnasium.
Next we take the scenic 12 mile drive through Lamoille Canyon outside of Elko Nevada and find a beautiful campsite.
