Hello My Dear Friends.
Step into a storybook forest where nature and imagination collide in the most serene and enchanting way. In this immersive 30-minute journey, I build a handcrafted shelter inside a naturally curved wild plum tree, shaped like a perfect crescent—its arching body rising from the earth and reaching toward the sky, creating a living, breathing sanctuary.

The tree, heavy with ripe plums and shrouded in dense, green foliage, offers the perfect foundation for a cozy wilderness retreat. With respect for the forest and a light human touch, I carefully convert this living sculpture into a part-shelter, part-pod—an inviting space to rest, reflect, and reconnect with the natural world. The design is simple but poetic: one side is embraced by the tree’s organic arch, while the back is enclosed using branches and natural materials found nearby. A fireplace glows near the base, and a wooden bed platform nestled within the curve of the tree becomes my resting place for the night.

This is more than just a build—this is a return to our roots.

In This Video, The Construction Of The Survival Shelter Is Completed By Completely Building The Walls, installing The door to the plum orchard full of fruit, and building a large fire pit.
