These tropical plants were an epic fail in my NY yard!

It’s so interesting how different every year is in the garden. Some plants that did spectacular last year were an EPIC fail this year (looking at you mandevillas.- anyone else notice they all look smaller this year?).
It was an amazing year for my dahliasb& plumerias, a pretty good year for the bananas, a so-so year for elephant ears, and an AWFUL year for my tropical palms.
Unfortunately last winter was rough on my tropical banana plants overwintering in the garage so I purchased a bundle of new banana varieties instead (Musa Veluntina, Mekong Giant, & Musella lasiocarpa)
